More successful graduates from Perth Radiation Oncology

The second cohort of postgraduate student radiation therapists has recently completed their studies. Once again, Perth Radiation Oncology has proudly supported these new graduates in completing their studies.
The postgraduate programme operates in partnership with Monash University in Melbourne. Students complete academic work through distance education delivery and undertake intensive clinical work experience at accredited radiation oncology facilities such as Perth Radiation Oncology. Not only does the postgraduate programme provide an excellent opportunity to train local people for local jobs, but existing qualified practitioners are able to expand their roles and develop skills in educational management and leadership.
The strong partnership between Monash University and Perth Radiation Oncology resulted in an outstanding group of local graduates in 2005, the first locally trained graduate radiation therapists in almost 20 years. Perth Radiation Oncology is very proud to have employed many of the 2005 and 2006 graduates.
