Referrals
Patients must have a current referral in order to receive a Medicare rebate for their consultations.
When you refer a patient, please ensure that you enclose with your referral copies of all relevant pathology results, x-ray and other scan reports, and any other information you feel may guide the radiation oncologist in making an informed decision about the patient's condition. Please give all scans to the patient to bring to their appointment.
Referrals can be posted to our street address, faxed, or sent with the patient.
